raapluss.no has privacy as an important priority and therefore we follow the applicable rules when it comes to the processing of personal data provided in the Personal Data Act and the Personal Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We want to follow these rules as this will provide increased security and safety for you as a customer and recipient of digital correspondence.
The new rules (GDPR) mean that you as a customer have an overview of what information is collected about you and what this information is used for.
What information is collected?
Information that is collected about you through our Shopify online store solution is your name, address, phone number, email and IP address. This is collected because this is information needed for processing your orders.
In addition, we collect purchase history from Vigur based on your purchases in the online store through cookies. You can read more about which cookies are used here.
We do not store card information in our online store and when it comes to personal information in connection with payment, this is taken care of by Stripe, Klarna and Vipps. For more information on the handling of personal data collected by Stripe, Klarna and Vipps, you must check out the payment provider's own websites where this is described.
How is the information collected used?
In order to provide an improved customer journey for our customers, we store purchase history on our website. We also store customer information about you as a customer in order to be able to contact you regarding an order or other needs. This information is shared with Google and Facebook so that you as a customer can get the best possible recommendations when it comes to purchasing products.
We do not sell any personal information on to third parties and information about you as a customer is not exchanged either. Relevant information that is needed to complete a transaction is only shared between the payment provider (Stripe, Klarna and Vipps) and the carrier (Posten/Bring)
How can I check what information is being stored and how to delete it?
If you have created a customer account with us, you will find all information about which information we have stored with us under the "my account" tab. If you wish to delete your customer account, this can also be done manually and if there are any difficulties, contact customer service and this will be done manually by us. Order history will not be deleted anyway, as this is covered by the Bookkeeping Act, which states that this is documentation we are required to have for the accounts.
If you receive e-mails from us and wish to unsubscribe, this can be easily done at the bottom right of the newsletter, where you press "Unsubscribe" Here, customer service can also are contacted and we can remove you from the mailing lists manually. If you receive SMS from us, you can opt out of this by following the description for stopping SMS sendings contained in the SMS you have received, or contact customer service then we will remove you from our SMS lists.
